ATCO
Energy Theatre
Who says safety
education can’t be fun?
ATCO Energy Theatre is a
unique approach that
uses “edu-tainment” to
teach young children
important lessons about
electricity and natural
gas, their hazards and
how to avoid potentially
fatal situations.
Offered free-of-charge
to elementary schools in
communities serviced by
ATCO
Electric and ATCO Gas, ATCO Energy
Theatre’s “Super Power"
show has been seen by
tens of thousands of
students since its
introduction in 2007.
The 45-minute musical
production is delivered
by professional actors
and uses song and dance
to teach important
lessons linked to
Alberta Education’s
science and health
curriculums for
elementary schools.
Tours are conducted
twice yearly – visiting
schools in southern
Alberta in the spring,
and north and central
Alberta schools in the
fall.
