ATCO opens new Calgary engineering office

ATCO Electric recently expanded its Alberta footprint by opening a new office in Calgary. Located in ATCO Centre, the new office is part of ATCO Electric’s growth strategy and will support capital transmission projects in the southern and eastern part of the province.

Transmission reinforcement is vital to Alberta’s economic development and these future transmission projects will help ensure safe, reliable electrical service to all Albertans.

ATCO Electric's expanded Calgary presence will connect to an additional pool of experienced resources and build engineering capacity for the work ahead, in concert with the long-established Edmonton engineering office.

ATCO Electric collects donations for Haiti

	Through an active Haiti donation program, ATCO Gas employees recently participated in a province-wide ATCO Haiti donation program. They collected enough goods to fill one and one-third sea containers the size of a semi-trailer. Volunteers were able to collect such large quantities of goods because of the generous participation of ATCO’s community of suppliers.
